This morning, we had a game against some guys who were abit older than us. It was a nice game played, except for some pushings, quarrels here and there. Fortunately there was no fights or any of such. In the first half, there were many chances created for both sides as both teams try to score a goal against each other to really start the match. But after the half time whistle was blown, it was zero at both sides.

Well, we played better in the second half, getting a goal from wan shun after the ball went loose. He had a firing shot which hit straight at the keeper and bounced in. It was his 9th goal of his career. A powerful one. The opponent fought hard to get a goal from a corner. It was well hit and the ball simply curled into the goal. The final score was 1 - 1. I am sure our team benefited from this match.

Our comeback match.

Today, we played a match against Shaun Ong and his friends. The final score was 3 - 3. It was a hard fought one for us. We were down 3 - 1 in the first half and the captain changed tactics to tackle our opponents. We had some nice goals, with the first coming from Yi Long who did not played in the previous match. He came back to the team and his goal was a superb one. Gleeful faking and body shifting , he created himself space before kicking the ball high and back down, just below the woodwork and into the net. What a great goal it looked, even when you are the goalkeeper at the other end. But the match was seemed to be taken over by the opponent with immediate replies from Shaun Ong and Brandon. The opponent took 3 great shots before half time to get the score 3 - 1. Our keeper had no chance of having those quick shots. How harsh can it be? During the second half, Oranje changed some way of playing the game and also replaced the keeper who seemed so relaxed during every part of the match. We scored 2 more goals to get the game running and finally it was full time. Everybody looked so exhausted after the game and was so worried for themselves too. They didnt had extra clothes to change into. The rain was so big during the game that the players got themselves so dirty with mud covering their boots and clothes. But overall , we guess that we were optimistic of our comeback in the game to get what we deserved. A draw.

Today , we had a match with another team at the marina south field. It was a very muddy and uncomfortable field , but we were able to overcome it and started the match.

Our team dominated the match throughout the whole match. Everyone played in the match and that was a good sign. the final score, 9 - 0. We won the match gracefully and all of us were in high spirits although everyone of us were so dirty with the mud on our body and so. The scorers of the nine goals were, Steven , WanShun, SweeSeng, Daniel, Ben Tay, JiaQing(2), JiaLong(2). It was the first goal for most of the scorers. That might also explain the joy in the players face after the game. We had most of the possession and kept the opponents busy with their defences. The opponent didnt have much attack runs, but they had quite a few chances in both halves. Jia Qing scored a wonderful free kick with an audacious lob over the keeper and into the back of the net.

In time to come , there might be more matches and our team hope to retain the form we are having. Great teamwork today from Oranje. Keep up the good work man!!!

Well, Today, Oranje had a training session... and its like once in a blue moon.. alright cos everybody has to study for their o lvls... so cant organise too much training sessions... everybody was quite punctual today... met up at 8am... we were unusually punctual... but its a good sign la... Haahaa~!! Everybody trained well i should say... we had some passing sessions... and then pig in the middle... we also had some long range shooting practice.. and after which, had some 5-a-side small pitch sessions..! everything was fun.. pple worked well and tactics were used wisely.. pictures were taken too.. to upate our bloggie.. we had our training session at AMK field.. the pitch was very muddy at the centre but we managed to handle the problem la.. everybody was still energetic after the training session.. dunno why... anyway.. the training session was a fair one.. everybody had fun..

Match Report. Team Oranje VS Unkown

In our latest match, we played a team which we don't have a name for them.. The final score was 2 - 1. Team Oranje won the game. Our 2 goals were scored by Daniel Tan And Swee Seng. It was 2 - 0 at half time. We played a more relaxed game in the second half and conceded a goal. Luckily we were able to withstand the pressure and keep to the score. Daniel scored with a wonderful 'cross' which ended up into the goal. Swee Seng was talking to the other team mates when he suddenly turned his head, saw the ball being crosses by the right flank and then headed the ball in without much difficulty. It was his first goal for Oranje. A cool goal it was. The math turned out to be quite a fast one with 2 sides doing the attacks after another. The opponent scored with a powerful long shot which the Oranje keeper overestimated and then it went in.
